I am happy to present my current poetry collection “Plötzlicher Nebel” at the Lyriktage Frankfurt in the program “Lyrik aus der Nachbarschaft” with many great colleagues on Thu. 25.5., 19:30 at the Hessisches Literaturforum. Support your local poetry scene!

Julia Grinberg and Andreas Hutt, Cecily Ogunjobi and Martin Piekar, Judith Hennemann, Julia Mantel and Dirk Hülstrunk will prove on this evening that many cooks can sometimes stir the porridge really creamy.

Julia Grinberg, born in 1970 in the USSR, studied chemistry and worked as a teacher, laboratory manager, dog walker, saleswoman, among other things. In 2000 she emigrated to Germany. Since then she lives near Wiesbaden and works in the wine trade. Her debut book “kill-your-darlings” was published by Gutleut-Verlag in fall 2019.

Andreas Hutt was born in Kassel in 1967 and lives in Marburg/ Lahn. He studied mathematics and German to become a teacher from 1988 to 1994, and has worked in the Hessian school service and as an author since 1998. Since 2005 he has published poetry, short prose and stories.

Cecily Ogunjobi has lived mostly in Frankfurt am Main since 1998, where she studies geosciences. She writes condensed prose and is a member of the author collective Sexyunderground. In 2018 Behütete Unwahrheiten was published as part of the Young Literature Forum.

Martin Piekar, born in 1990, studied philosophy and history in Frankfurt am Main. He lives in and works from Frankfurt. His second book of poetry AmokperVers was published by Verlagshaus Berlin in 2018.

Judith Hennemann, born in 1975, grew up in the Taunus, lives and works as an industrial sociologist in Frankfurt am Main. Most recently, her poetry collection Besser nicht warten auf King Tide 2022 was published by Axel Dielmann Verlag.

Julia Mantel, born in 1974, studied applied cultural studies in Lüneburg. Mantel is a founding member of the Frankfurt poetry collective “Salon Fluchtentier” and lives in Frankfurt. In 2021, Wenn Du eigentlich denkst, die Karibik steht Dir zu was published by Edition Faust.

Dirk Hülstrunk, born 1964 in Frankfurt am Main, lives as a freelance sound poet, spoken word poet, sound artist, lecturer, moderator and curator of art and literature events in Frankfurt. In 2022 his volume of poetry Plötzlich Nebel was published by Axel Dielmann Verlag.
