Jazzmusicians Peter Klohmann & Martin Lejeune and Spoken Word/Loop Poet Dirk Hülstrunk ironically take up the idea of Marching Bands and Brass Music Ensembles to combine it with the minimalistic, rhythmic Poetry and Loops of Dirk Huelstrunk. Wordplay meets Swing. Word- and Soundloops meet playfulness and humour
Storm Trio is also performing the legendary Jazz- & Beat-Poem “Storm” written by the Australian Poet, Actor, Musician, Comedian Tim Minchin. Tim Minchins “Storm” is know to be a legendary hymn of critical thinking. It went viral as an animated movie on YouTube and got published as a Graphic Novel. In 2020 „Storm“ was published in German Translation by Dirk Huelstrunk, with an introduction by Neil Gaiman again as a Graphic Novel, Alibri Verlag.
Peter Klohmann and Martin Lejeune are some of the most demanded, creative and inventive Jazz Musicians in Germany, crossing borders whereever they find them.
