Can anyone seriously call himself a “poet”? I still write things I call “poems”, though I publish little of it in print. Some of the poems are part of my spoken word programs, some are visual poems, some LOOK like prose, most of them do NOT use metaphors. NO RHYMES but a lot of RHYTHM.
