A live sound collage featuring original Dada texts by Dirk Hülstrunk pays homage to the Dadaist and Lettrist pioneers of sound poetry, from Hugo Ball to Raoul Hausmann to Kurt Schwitters. On the eve of the colloquium on “German-Language Cultural Networks in Prague in the 20th Century,” artist and art historian Lenka Kerdová will discuss German-language networks in Prague in her introductory talk, “babadada Praga,” using the Dadaists as an example, with a focus on Kurt Schwitters and Raoul Hausmann.
