March, 27., 6pm , Haus am Dom, Frankfurt, free entry
So little I can do about this horrible war in the Ukraine, a war that was unimaginable for me in Europe. A clearly imperialistic war, trying to overthrow a democratic gouvernment in an independent country, bombing cities, killing mostly civilians, a war that has been a crime from day one of the invasion. I know a poem can´t stop tanks and bombs. But maybe our solidarity with the Ukraine may give a tiny bit of hope. I feel extremley honoured, I was asked to read poems of Ukrainian writers together with: Henning Ahrens, Matthias Altenburg, Zsuzsa Bánk, Yevgeniy Breyger, Safiye Can, Eva Demski, Julia Grinberg, Saskia Hennig von Lange, Dirk Huelstrunk, Bodo Kirchhoff, Dalibor Marković, Anna Yeliz Schentke, Jan Costin Wagner, Jan Wilm.
We will read poems by Oksana Sabuschko, Yevgenia Belorusets, Serhij Zhadan, Andrij Lubka, Halyna Kruk u.v.m
