I am delighted that poetry is playing a special role as part of the Czech Republic’s Guest of Honor program and that I have the opportunity to host several events featuring Czech poetry, including with Petr Hruska, Jaromir Typlt, Pavel Novontny, Iryna, Zahladko, Marie Iljašenko, Lubomír Tichý, and Petr Borkovec—both in the city (at BePoet Off Space) and at the Guest of Honor Pavilion and the Czech National Stand at the Book Fair. Marie Iljašenko will also perform at the opening of the Frankfurt Book Fair.
